Please help with bad throat problem?

so this time last year i started having these flare ups where my throat felt like it had knives jabbing into it. constantly. i went to the doc and nothing helped then this february i went to the medi centre doctor and he gave me antiinflamatory and that made me cough up all this phlem for about a week then i was better, now its starting again
