Chinese CV Axle or German CV joint?

Go with the German maded cv joint. The chinese stuff is junk!!! had Installed one on my 01 golf, failed after 4 months, installed the replacement one, it exploded under load and sent pieces of the cv joint right into my 5 speed transmission case. Causing 5k worth of damage and a month down time, had to wait for the boat showed up on the east coast, that was shipping my new vw 5 speed manual transmission from germany. The Chinese CV manufacture refused to pay for the damage to the transmission. The Car is now operating on NO CHINA policy for all parts and number of unscheduled repairs has drop to near zero, with over 200k on an 01 golf tdi.
